The move aims to help families refresh homes and wardrobes for spring with lower prices on clothing, bedding, baby items and pantry staples.
WASHINGTON — Target is lowering prices on more than 3,000 products as shoppers begin updating their wardrobes and cleaning up their homes for the spring season.
The retailer said the reductions, most ranging from 5% to 20% off original prices, will apply across several popular categories, including apparel, home goods, baby essentials and select food and beverage items. The price cuts began rolling out in March and are expected to continue throughout the spring.
“Busy families are thinking about value as they begin to update their homes and wardrobes for spring,” Cara Sylvester, Target’s executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, said in a statement. “We’re delivering by lowering prices on 3,000 spring favorites across apparel, essentials and home.”
Target said the move is part of its broader strategy to offer style and design at competitive prices while supporting long-term growth.
The company highlighted women’s and children’s clothing reflecting seasonal trends, bedding and blankets for home refreshes, and footwear such as flats, sandals and sneakers among the discounted items. Everyday essentials, such as baby products, household supplies and pantry staples, are also included.
The new markdowns build on thousands of price reductions the company implemented in 2025. Target shoppers may also be able to find additional savings through its free Target Circle loyalty program, which offers rewards and exclusive discounts in stores, online and through the Target app.
